Tesla had about 15 days of global inventory during the first quarter of this year, significantly less than the US industry average of 35 days. However, the company’s global stockpile is at its greatest level in around three years.

Tesla is also dealing with a decrease in demand, and in the first three months of this year, the business produced more cars than it sold. The corporation might have had to give significant discounts due to the slow demand and growing inventory.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk hinted at the justification for price reductions by saying, “We see what the demand is before we adjust pricing to satisfy the demand,” at the shareholders meeting last week.

Tesla has offered discounts on its automobiles before this year. The business has provided discounts in numerous markets to sell off its equities this year.

In an interview with ABC channel shortly after the shareholder meeting, Musk suggested that he would pursue Tesla automobile advertising for the first time. Still, he also cautioned that the company might face a challenging year.
